When we were in the Languedoc region of France recently, everything was bursting into vibrant autumn colour. Autumn was my favourite season when we lived there, and I particularly love the changes in the thousands of hectares of grape vines in the area. Different rows seem to change to different colours, and each field seems to change at different times, so you have a glorious evolving patchwork effect everywhere you look.
About Jackie Sherwood
I am an Australian artist, currently living in Greece, but travelling between Australia, New Zealand, Greece and France and wherever else takes my fancy in between! I work mostly in acrylics and also collage, and love using black linework as well. I aim to capture the feeling of the places I visit, and am inspired by water, rooftops, boats and anything else that gives off the essense of the country I'm visiting.
