Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. These long straight roads lined with plane trees are such a wonderful sight at all times of the year, but there is something quite stunning about them in winter when they’re almost bare and their trunks glimmer almost white in the sunshine.
About Jackie Sherwood
I am an Australian artist, currently living in Greece, but travelling between Australia, New Zealand, Greece and France and wherever else takes my fancy in between! I work mostly in acrylics and also collage, and love using black linework as well. I aim to capture the feeling of the places I visit, and am inspired by water, rooftops, boats and anything else that gives off the essense of the country I'm visiting.
